What we collect
(a) Your email address, when you subscribe to the Terrain Intelligence newsletter. (b) Information you send us directly by email or WhatsApp. (c) Basic technical data (browser type, pages visited) via our hosting provider’s standard logs. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data.
Why, and on what basis
Newsletter emails are processed on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue. Correspondence is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to you.
Where your data lives
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Newsletter subscriptions are collected through the site's form handler and stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure. We keep subscriber data only while you remain subscribed.
Your rights
Under the Ivorian data protection law (Law No. 2013-450) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and you may object to or restrict processing. Write to mercy@penielconsultingafrica.com. EU residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority; in Côte d’Ivoire, the ARTCI is the competent authority.
